Basic instructions for correct usage:
•    Vitamin E is one of the fat soluble vitamins which prevent deficiency as a food supplement and as an antioxidant to neutralize free radicals
It is recommended that consult with your doctor or pharmacist in the following cases before taking vitamin-E,
•    In the case of sensitivity history to vitamin
•    History of diseases of coagulation, anticoagulation therapy or vitamin K
•    In the case of using of some medications, especially cholestyramine, products containing iron, vitamin A and edible paraffin.
Pregnancy and lactation
Vitamin E passes from placenta (20 to 30%) and is excreted in breast milk, however any special side effect has not been reported with the use of conventional doses and taking the recommended doses allowed.
Administration and Dosage
The daily needed amount for vitamin E has not been precisely specified however, the recommended daily amount for people almost as below that is usually provided with an appropriate diet.
•    Children until 3 years old, 3-6mg
•    Children 4-11 years, 7mg
•    Youth and adult men, 10 mg
•    Youth and adult women 8 mg
•    Pregnant women 10mg
•    Breast milk feeding women 11-12mg
The best sources for vitamin E include vegetable oils (corn, soybean, cottonseed and sunflower), cereals, wheat germ, green leafy vegetables, which are recommended for their daily needs.
•    It is recommended for better absorption of Vitamin E take it with a meal.
•    Meal it with a glass of water
•    Swallow the capsules and avoid chewing or opening it.



Precautions
•    There are reports that high doses and long-term (more than 800 mg per day) in prone people, increase  tendency to bleeding in patients with a deficiency of vitamin K, changes in thyroid hormone metabolism, sexual dysfunction and increase the risk of thrombophlebitis causes.
Contraindications
In hiperprotromibiy disease due to vitamin K deficiency and susceptibility to vitamin E, this drug is contraindicated.
Side effects:
Although, all of these symptoms cannot be seen in a person with using vitamin E, but it is recommended to consult with a physician if any of the following side effects are continued:
Blurred vision, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, nausea and abdominal pain, weakness and abnormal fatigue.
Maintenance
    Keep drug away from children reach.
    Keep drug away from light and moisture and below 30°C (preferred 15-30°C).
    Protect from freezing.
    Do not use expired drug.
Poisoning
The maximum amount allowed entry to the body through food and vitamin supplements are as follows:
•    Children up to three years, 200 mg
•    Children 4 to 10 years, 300 mg
•    Youth and adult men, 800mg
•    Youth and adult women, 800mg
