Aleragel soft gelatin capsule

Cetirizine is an antihistamine medicine that relieves the symptoms of allergies.

Indication:

Adults and children 6 years of age and older: 10mg once daily

Doses are usually lower for people with kidney problems.

* Cetirizine is not suitable for some people. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you:

- Have had an allergic reaction to cetirizine or any other medicines in the past.

- Have an allergy to the food additives.

- Are booked to have an allergy test - taking cetirizine may affect the results, so you might need to stop taking it a few days before the test.

- Have liver or kidney disease

- Take aspirin in high doses

* FDA pregnancy category B. This medication is not expected to be harmful to an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment. Cetirizine can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing baby. Do not use cetirizine without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.

* Take your forgotten dose as soon as you remember, unless it is nearly time for your next dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

Side effects:

Like all medicines, cetirizine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.

Feeling sleepy and tired, headaches, dry mouth, feeling sick (nausea), feeling dizzy, stomach pain, diarrhea, sore throat, cold-like symptoms of the nose, itching or a rash, tingling in your hands, and feet feeling agitated.

Keep in a dry place & Store below 30°C.

Keep out of reach of the children.
