®Gelofen Compound
Acetaminophen/Ibuprofen/Caffeine
Each capsule contains 325 mg of acetaminophen, ibuprofen 200 mg and 40 mg of caffeine that can be used as a pain reliever, like headaches and pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis and also used as anti-fever.
Before taking this medication, consult your physician or pharmacist in the following cases:
Hypersensitivity to any of the components and, also allergic to other medicines, foods, dyes, protective materials, gelatin, etc.
In the case of pregnancy and lactation
If you are taking any medication, whether prescription or non-prescription, especially anticoagulants, other drugs containing acetaminophen, ibuprofen and caffeine.
In the event of any type of disease, especially kidney, liver, stomach disorders or stomach ulcers, heart disease, a history of seizures and hyperthyroidism
uring the course of this drug is recommended to observe the following points:
Do not take more medication than recommended dosage.
You can eat the drug with or after a meal with some water. At the time of taking the drug excess consumption of tea and coffee should be avoided.
This drug Do not recommended for use in children under 12 years. it is better to use other forms of drug.
High doses of chemotherapy and a long time are not recommended for control of severe pain.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
It is part of Group C, and its use is permitted at the discretion of the physician.
Precautions:
Taking high doses of this drug or longer should be done under medical supervision. This case must be considered about elderly, due to kidney damage possibility. Used with caution in patients wiceth peptic ulrs.
During the course of treatment with this medicine if you notice any of the following side effects of drug use and cut to see your doctor
In case of any unusual symptoms, redness or swelling of the extremities, intensified its unrelieved pain or fever or aggravation within 10 days and sustain it for more than 3 days.
Drug and Dosage
To relieve pain, mild fever, or arthritis in adults, one or two capsules taken each 6-4 hours up to 10 days.
Side effects
Each drug, along the desired treatment effects may cause some unwanted side effects. Side effects are rare and are usually mild, too. Some of these side effects are cough, phlegm, dizziness, extreme weakness, flushing, redness of the skin, shortness of breath and difficulty in breathing, wheezing, decreased urination and swelling of the eyelids, face or lips.
Other rare side effects of this drug include: eosinophilia, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, pancytopenia, and agranulocytosis.
Poisoning
In case of accidental intake of large amounts of medication than the recommended dose, please stop treatment and transfer patient to medical centers immediately. Drinking large amounts and toxicity of the drug could cause liver toxicity and kidney damage.
Maintenance:
keep drug below 30 ° C, away from light and moisture and stored in it's original pack.
Keep away from the reach of children.
Do not use expired medicines.

Gelatin capsules, acetaminophen, ibuprofen, caffeine is supplied in boxes of 50 digits.
